If you’re heading to Marrakech then I highly recommend adding an extra day to your trip and staying overnight in the Agafay Desert at @beagafay - one of the few desert camps in Morocco that has a pool and a jacuzzi.⁣ ⁣ Located in the Agafay Desert, BE Agafay is a 1 hour drive from Marrakech, so you could easily visit for the day with a pool poss which includes lunch. However, you will experience the true magic of the desert when you stay in one of their luxury tents as you really can’t beat sleeping under the stars and waking up to epic views of the Atlas Mountains.⁣ ⁣ When it comes to glamping - the yurt tents at BE Agafay are on another level. They are incredibly spacious, with a huge bedroom, separate kitchenette/wardrobe area and one of the nicest bathrooms I’ve ever experienced glamping! There was even a basket with a hair dryer & hair straightener for the girlies!⁣ ⁣ One of the best experiences at BE Agafay is that you instantly feel like family when you arrive. Is travel to Morocco safe for women? Generally, I would say yes, it is definitely a safe place for women to travel, and I think the bad reputation mainly comes from Marrakesh. There are so many amazing cities to visit in Morocco. Where should you visit in Morocco? Fes is one city that I really loved. Another city to visit in Morocco? Definitely go to Essaouira, but also to Casablanca, and Tangier. Do not forget about the desert! The best desert I’ve been to in potentially my life is in Merzouga! Make sure you do not go to the Agafay desert… you need to make sure you go to the further desert because it is absolutely gorgeous I do think that I explain in my video, however, it goes a little bit deeper than just a city having small streets and being uncomfortable, because of the way that men act I think it is directly tied tourism , so while I would not say avoid Marrakesh, I would just say, be vigilant and ignore, and that speak to you if you’re alone. The bottom line is travel to Morocco is safe. Tourism and Morocco is safe. Moroccans are very kind in hospital people, so should you travel to Morocco? Yes. Morocco is safe for solo female travelers.
