Replying to @Susie This puppet uses a simple pulley mechanism that allows the mouth to be operated from a distance. There are 2 springs inside each side of the mouth that keep the jaw shut when no force is exerted on the pulley. The mouth is strong but luckily not so strong as to cause the bite of ‘24. [WIP] Maker of ungodly things. The jaw springs and antler slots are in! This is a square peg situation, and yes i did kill a few Lego bricks for this. The reason I use Lego for a lot of my builds is simply due to the pieces being durable standardised. Without a 3D printed to make the pieces for me, it’s very difficult to create 2 slots that are the same size, so it’s much easier to use Lego. #thebeast #horror #horrorart #puppetry #practicalFX #modelmaking #puppetmaking
