How to make the most of your next trip to Legoland (this was an adPRtrip but I wasn’t contracted to share this) ⚠️SAVE this for your next trip!⚠️ Ignore the 10am opening time, the turnstiles open at 9.30am so you can enjoy the beginning area before the inside gates open at 10 and head straight to the back of the park where you’re going to beat the queues for Sky Lion. If you’re staying in one of the Legoland hotels, you get early access and Lego City opens at 9.30am so we headed straight to the Driving School, which is always super popular. You need to measure your kids before you arrive, this was you can swerve the rides they’re too short for, avoiding any upset. It’s also essential you download the free Legoland app & plan out your day ahead of time, it has an interactive map, show times and accurate queue times. Plus, with the app you can try the two augmented reality experiences, which you’ll find in Mythica & Miniland. Make sure you bring a picnic, plenty of snacks as well as refillable water bottles, a change of clothes for littles & ponchos for the rides you’re likely to get wet on but don’t worry if you forget sunscreen as there’s dispensers located around the park. When Skeleton Bay at Heartlake City reopens at the end of Spring, don’t miss the midday live action pirate show & eat your lunch there to maximise your time enjoying the rides. Don’t skip the Ferrari Build & Race experience, you can scan in your creation and race it virtually. We also pre-booked the Minifigure Factory Experience (located in the Lego store @ The Beginning) for £12.99, to personalise an extra special momento of our visit. Lastly, save Miniland till the end of the day, as you have around an hour after the advertised park closing time to leave. The park is cashless but the boat driving activity here requires a £1 coin. 4D Theatre & The Brick are great queue-free activities and also weather-proof. Then you can catch the last hill train ride up to the exit at 6.50pm to save your tired legs. #LegolandWindsor #familydaysout #daysoutwithkids #mumhacks
