Using their classmates range (I'll link everything in stories) we cut up a lot of egg carton sections, painted them, then once dried, glued them all together! You could make one each or even create a flower as part of a collaborative project! My favourite thing about this is that no 'petal' is the same making each flower beautifully unique! We threaded through our twine and pom pom and there you have it! All ready to be hung up! Don't have the right colour pom poms for your flowers? SIDEWALK CHALK PAINT 🎨 🌈🤩 Making your own sidewalk chalk paint is easy - and a perfect use for all of the little bits and pieces that are too hard to draw with! 🙌 Ingredients * 2 tbsp cornstarch * 2 tbsp water If not painting well enough, add 1 extra tablespoon of water and mix in * 1/2 tbsp sidewalk chalk Or 1/2 a piece of chalk Add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch into a measuring cup. Add 2 tablespoons of water into the cup and mix. Note: if you find the paint does not paint well, add an additional tablespoon of water. Grate sidewalk chalk to get approx 1/2 tablespoon of chalk. Add it into the cup or the muffin tin and then mix with the cornstarch and water. If you would rather not grate the chalk, place the chalk pieces into a ziploc bag and bang with a rolling pin until it turns into a similar consistency. Repeat for each color you’d like to make. This sidewalk chalk paint will make one muffin cup of paint. If you want to fill your muffin tin you will need to repeat the recipe for each color. You can also double or triple the recipe and make a larger batch and then split it into smaller containers and add the sidewalk chalk in last to save time. #summercrafts #summeractivities #kidscrafts #kidsactivities

DOT PAINTING 🎨 😍 This is a super fun rock painting project for kids (and adults). Give this post a ❤️ if you like how these turned out. I’m using these mandala dotting tools. These are easy to get but you can also use the back of a pencil or paintbrush to dot. Then I’m dipping into acrylic paint and dotting onto the rocks.
