First of all, Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite ride! I absolutely love the drops, the music, all of it! I’ve been waiting for her to be tall enough to ride but I was sooooo nervous about how she’d do, and if she’d even want to ride it. Before we went to Disney that day, I was contemplating not telling her about the ride and just letting her be surprised. But as I asked other parents for advice this is what they said. Two options: 1. Don’t tell her about the ride, she may not it, or she may hate it, and then struggle to trust you again. 2. You can show her a video, tell her about the ride. She may chose she’s not ready, but will feel protected by you, or she’ll try it, and either love it, or she’ll say it was too scary and not want to ride it again, but the trust in the relationship will be intact. We went with option 2, and I’m sooo glad we did. Riding my favorite ride with her, and having her love it, filled my heart with so much joy! Can’t wait to go back. #parenting101 #disneyadult #disneyparentingtips #disneytips #disnehwithkids #disneywithtoddlers #disney #disneygram #disneyparks #disneyland #californiaadventure #disneylove @disney @disneyland @disneyparks @waltdisneyworld
