✨𝑰𝑴𝑳𝑰 𝑪𝑯𝑼𝑻𝑵𝑬𝒀 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒍𝒆𝒇𝒕𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒖𝒈𝒂𝒓 𝒔𝒚𝒓𝒖𝒑✨🤤 Note: This is a basic recipe that we made to use up some leftover syrup. You can jazz it up as much as you want by adding nuts, dry fruits, date paste, pumpkin seeds, etc. Ingredients: 2 cups Leftover Sugar syrup (or if you’re making from scratch, 2 cups sugar + 1 cup water- boil till it thickens slightly or reaches 1 string consistency) 1/2 cup Tamarind paste 1 tsp Amchur powder (raw mango powder) 1 tsp Saunf powder (fennel seed powder) 2 tsp Roasted Jeera powder 1/2 tsp Black Salt 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp Sounth powder (dry ginger) Method: 1. Bring sugar syrup to a boil and add tamarind paste. 2. Boil for 2-3 mins and add the masalas. Keep boiling it till it thickens well. It will thicken more after it cools. 3. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 months. Freeze upto a year.
