πJUST A LIL TASTE!!π It is never a good idea to waste the Venus fly trap energy on false triggers. But it happens all the time in nature. A blade of grass or a leaf falls onto the trigger hairs and falsely triggers the trap, but the trap will not go fully into digestion if the prey does not keep moving. That is how the plant can tell if it is worth expending the energy. But you can still stress a plant out and possibly even kill it if you keep triggering it. MY PLANTS ARE HEALTHY, AND CAN HANDLE IT JUST FINE. The purpose of the video was to answer the question "can the plant hurt you, hour children, your pets etc..." Well as the video just demonstrated, the answer is NO. They can not hurt you by biting you. The lashes are very soft, and the trigger hairs that look like spikes are soft as well. While the plant is fairly strong for how small they are, they are simply not strong enough or hard enough to puncture skin. #carnivorousplant #tropicalplants #venusflytrap #flytrap #nepenthes #drosera #sundew #cephalotus #sarracenia #pitcherplant #plants #houseplants #tropical #exoticplants #rareplants #australianpitcherplant #garden #exotic #asianpitcherplant #stickyplant #flowers #greenhouse #grow #carnivore #hungryplants #greenthumb #nature #swamp #capensis #cephalotusfolicularis
