My grandparents raised me and they were residential school survivors they did their best with their kids without being taught and their kids did their best with theirs too. Growing up seeing everything and going through family trauma of my own I decided to only carry forward the good. I utilized tiktok and google, read thousands of articles on everything I could find surrounding parenting aswell as self love and I still use everything I learned. I healed my own inner child during this process. This is me doing my best and I had to learn that being a parent starts with loving yourself personally so you can love your child, my son gave me a purpose in life when I always felt I never had one (intergenerational trauma). I love my life with my son and I’m thankful for him. So many people are ending the cycle of abuse but still Prayers to those who are stuck it is far from easy. Kids are sacred and should be treated as such ♥️🫶🏽 times are changing no need to carry forward the pain. I look forward to my future with my boy and I’m especially excited to teach him the 7 sacred teachings that are known but arent widely practiced.
