I just wanted to update you all on my BYTE ALIGNERS usage. 😭 I am NOT DONE with my treatment yet. I feel like I can finally smile again 😭 I am near the end of week 21 out of 28 treatments. I’ve had a few small hiccups - but this is normal and just requires you to wear your aligners a bit longer (you’re supposed to wear each set for one week, in my case). I’ve been having to wear my top aligners for a few days longer than expected to get my teeth to move according to plan. I am also a bit more behind on my bottom teeth - I had a small hiccup where I had to backtrack my bottom aligners due to them not being seated properly. I had to go back a week or two, and because of that I am on set 19, two sets different from my top teeth. However, that fluke is now fixed and my bottom teeth are tracking perfectly now. I finally feel like I don’t have to hide my smile anymore, which is huge for me. In the second photo - this photo is THE SPECIFIC REASON why I stopped smiling in photos almost two years ago. I saw this photo and was mortified that my teeth looked like this when I smiled. I didn’t want braces at my age, I don’t like the way they look (on me) or feel. I had braces in high school but as you could probably guess I lost and never used my retainer. Byte has been my saving grace, in all seriousness.
