**FRESH CORIANDER STORAGE 2 WAYS** SAVE AND SHARE NOW Here are two ways to make your fresh coriander last longer, I use both methods depending on what I want to use the coriander for. METHOD 1. Fridge Storage - Wrap the unwashed coriander bunch in paper towels and keep it in a carrier bag in the fridge. This method is ideal for when recipes call for fresh coriander as a garnish or ingredient in the recipe, it's just like using coriander fresh from the garden. Any time you see yellowing/rotten leaves, remove them and make sure the paper towel isn't excessively moist or damp, if it does feel damp, replace it (newspaper/brown paper bags also work for this method). Using this method will help the coriander stay fresh for up to two weeks. METHOD 2. Freezer Storage - Wash, drain and chop your coriander bunch, then place in an airtight container in the freezer. This method is better for when you want to preserve the coriander for longer, however frozen coriander can only be used as a garnish for cooked dishes where it's added at the end, for example curries, soups or stews. IMPORTANT - only remove the frozen coriander from the freezer when you're ready to add it to the dish, put it back into the freezer IMMEDIATELY else it will turn to mush and become a black colour. Sometimes I just take a spoonful out and add this to my curries instead of removing the entire container from the freezer.
