Traveling solo to South Korea for the very first time AND during BTS’ 10th Anniversary must have been the best decision I have ever made for myself 🤍 I have learned so much about myself, I learned independence, confidence, and simply just not having any fear. For those who don’t know me I can have severe social anxiety, in which I relied so much on my boyfriend Gene whenever we would go out in public. It got to that point where I would hide behind my phone everywhere I go, and relied on social media for comfort. I lost a lot of trust on people who has betrayed me in the past so even a simple conversation with someone I don’t know would literally just scare me. I know it sounds really silly. I realized during my trip that I couldn’t keep thinking this way, that if I wanted to move on I had to push myself and just take that step. Thanks to my friends Jen and Nik they booked a spontaneous trip to Korea to celebrate their anniversary and was sweet enough to invite me to tag along with them for the short time they were there! This was the first time I met them, and if It wasn’t for all their help I would probably still be stuck at the airport the first day I landed 😂 they helped me so much on transportation and just getting around in general in Seoul. I couldn’t be anymore thankful for them 🤍 after they left I was completely independent. I took a train to Busan and the first day I was there I decided to go to the beach, where I met my very good friends Khawla, Patience, Serene, and Mia! I asked them if they wanted me to take a pic of them together and they took my pictures as well! After that they invited me to go to the beach with them! 🥹 we had a GREAT night and even watched the fireworks, I was so happy and it was all thanks to them. My last week in Seoul I met my friend Quyen she recognized me from IG and just started a conversation with me like we knew each other forever! Through her I met Tui and thanks to them I couldn’t have had the BEST last week in Korea. Not only that I met so many sweet army, some who just approached me and said hi. Thank you💜 this was a trip of a lifetime and I will never forget it✨ #southkorea #solotravel #btsarmy #bts10thanniversary
