GO to my Profile + tap 🔗 + type “How to Add a Lamp Without an Outlet” into the search bar. I was so excited to add a little lamp for evening reading to our living room in our last house! The problem was that there wasn’t an outlet anywhere near the lamp as it sits in the middle of the room. But then I remembered that I had both Rechargeable LED Bulbs and LED Puck Lights that I could use on these lamps (you can use either, I choose the light bulbs). My next dilemma was trying to decide what to do with the cord. I thought about cutting it but didn’t for two reasons. The first is because I wanted to be able to use it in the future in other places. The second is that you need the cord for the Rechargeable LED Bulbs (it comes with something to plug it into). Thankfully I found a way to remedy the situation by pulling off the fabric underneath and stuffing the cord up into it. Oh, and to make it sit flat (as the cord tucked under it made it sit a bit uneven), I used small chair pads around the base. It worked great!
