Remember when I put #peelandsticktiles in my shower… I had a lot of people telling me I was stupid BUT I did this before + researched a brand that claimed it could go in a shower. Well here we are 18 months later and it’s still here and doing just fine. Do I know yet if this is a 100% #renterfriendly #diy #homeimprovement project… no because I haven’t removed them. It always makes me nervous recommending this as something that can be done safely for a renter without knowing what that removal looks like. I wanted to give this #thriftstorefind #painting a little bit of life… the idea was to match some colors to my wallpaper in the primary #bedroommakeover and keep with the theme of arizona sunset colors! I used my kids #craftpaint with foam bushes I soaked in water before dipping them in the paint lightly. Then I used my hands to shape the clouds. I last minute added marigold flowers! It turned out beautiful! #diy #homedecor #budgetfriendly #homeideas

Me and my paint pad obsession continues… this wasn’t a project I thought I was going to be doing today or ever but my youngest would not let it go. Before school she said “you’re going to paint the dresser pink today right!?” Well I did it 😂 I thought this paint pad was more fun and easier to use (remember I am a wallpaper girlie so I smooth wallpaper down with a tool in this same motion) BUT it’s not for perfectionists. If I was to do this #furnitureflip correctly I would have sanded it, primed it, used my paint sprayer and not use chalk paint. This was just a quick color swap and so much simpler. I broke my new #dresser for the pimary #bedroommakeover because I think I can do everything by myself… I do actually do all my #diy #homedecor on this page by myself. That’s the beauty of my #homeideas they are ideas that anybody can do if they want to. Over the last 2 years I have confidently gone into all my projects knowing I can do them by myself. That doesn’t mean I don’t mentally breakdown doing everything by myself sometimes… it can get very overwhelming for me but I always somehow figure out how to get it done. Anyways… these are great #budgetfriendly dressers just don’t try and lift it by yourself like I did 🤦‍♀️

I like my paint mop… it’s easier and less messy to use for me! I am not a professional painter and never want to be. We are lucky I even built up the motivation to paint this entire room. The only reason I have the motivation to do it is because I don’t have to drag my huge ladder around + spend a ton of time taping.
