Replying to @AshleyL Classic Chili! 🌶️ Ingredients: • 1 onion, diced • 1 bell pepper, diced • 2 tbsp garlic, minced • 2 lbs ground beef • 4 tbsp chili powder • 1 tbsp Britscookin Cajun seasoning • 1 tbsp garlic powder • 1 tbsp black pepper • 1 tbsp garlic salt • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce • 4 cups water (divided) • 2 tbsp sugar • A couple dashes Worcestershire sauce Instructions: 1️⃣ Sauté onion & bell pepper in a Dutch oven. Mash the veggies. 2️⃣ Add garlic, cook until fragrant. 3️⃣ Add ground beef & break it up. Pour in 2 cups of water for a fine texture. 4️⃣ Season with chili powder, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, & garlic salt. 5️⃣ Stir in tomato sauce, 2 more cups of water, & sugar. Bring to a boil. 6️⃣ Cover, lower heat, & simmer for 30 mins. Then, cook uncovered for another 30 mins. 7️⃣ Finish with Worcestershire sauce & enjoy! Want a thicker chili? Pesto Chicken Bake! 2 pounds of chicken breast 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, halved 6 ounces of pesto 1/2 cup of sliced garlic cloves 1 bag of shredded mozzarella cheese 1 pound of thin spaghetti Garlic & herb seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste Preheat the oven to 425°F. Flatten the chicken breast to an even thickness, then drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, and herb to taste, and add a generous amount of pesto. Once the chicken is evenly coated on both sides, set it aside. In a 9x13 baking dish, combine tomatoes, garlic, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, and 4 ounces of pesto. Season with more garlic and herb, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Place the chicken breast into the baking dish, moving the tomatoes to the side. Bake for 20 minutes, then top the chicken with cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until it reaches 165°F.
