NASA has just discovered a record number of ancient stars in a distant galaxy. NASA’s Webb Telescope spotted 44 ancient stars in the “Dragon Arc," which is about 6.5 billion light-years away from Earth in the Abell 370 galaxy cluster. Researchers used gravitational lensing to identify the stars, which includes red supergiants, like the star Betelgeuse in Earth's galaxy. Head to the linked article to read more about this groundbreaking discovery. #nasa #stars #astronomy #news
