Is it a weird habit to have? Yes. Does it seem to improve sleep quality? Also yes! Two big things have me convinced to keep up with mouth taping most nights and that’s oral health and sleep quality. I got on google and learned that breathing through your nose when you sleep, helps you achieve a deeper, higher quality sleep, and obviously sleeping with your mouth closed how to prevent extra bacteria from developing inside your mouth while you’re sleeping. I wake up with the cleaner feeling mouth when I mouth tape, and I definitely feel more rested as well.
