Replying to @Mallory James Strawberry top simple syrup. In a large pot, add 4 cups strawberry tops, 3 cups sugar, and 3 cups water. Stir. Once it starts to boil, set your timer for 12 minutes. After the 12 minutes, remove from heat and strain. Once strained, fill your hot jars - making sure to leave 1/2 inch headspace. Debubble and wipe rims with white vinegar. Place your rings and flats on, making sure to only tighten finger tip tight. Place jars in water bath canner. Once it hits a rolling boil, set your timer for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes, remove jars. Allow your jars to sit on the counter for 24 hours before removing the rings. Now to make strawberry milk - use what you feel is necessary. I used roughly 32 ounces of milk and a half pint of syrup. Stir and enjoy! #momof4 #familyof6 #nospend #budget #budgeting #baking #cooking #madefromscratch #homemade #homemadefood #ingredientsonly #homemaker #homestead #simpleliving #backyardchickens #foodpreservation #vacuumseal #freezer #deepfreezer #kitchenrestock #preservingfood #freezerstash #mealplanning #mealprepping #homemadekitchenrestock #canning #waterbathcanning
