I keep seeing Raising Cane’s mukbang videos, so I took that as a sign to try to recreate it at home since we don’t have Raising Cane’s in the PH. Basically, this is just me guessing how it tastes based on different food reviews I watched and read 😅 Ingredients: Toast: Tangzhong: 2 tbsp all-purpose flour 1/4 cup water Dough: 2 1/2 cups bread flour 1/3 cup white sugar 2 tsp instant yeast 1 tsp salt 1 egg (room temperature) 1/2 cup milk Egg wash: 1 large egg 1 tbsp water/milk Garlic butter: 4 tbsp butter (softened) 1 tsp garlic salt (to make garlic salt: 1 tbsp salt, 1 and 1/4 tsp garlic powder) Topping: Sesame seeds Texas toast Instructions: 1. To make tangzhong, mix water and flour until the flour is fully dissolved. 2. Cook over medium heat until it looks like a paste. 3. Combine bread flour, white sugar, instant yeast, salt, egg, and milk. 4. Knead for 7 minutes. 5. Add softened unsalted butter and knead for 15 minutes. 6. Transfer to an oiled/buttered bowl. 7. Let it proof for 30-40 minutes, until it doubles in size. 8. Divide the dough into equal parts and shape into rolls. 9. Oil/butter your pan and place the rolls. 10. Let it rest for another 15 minutes. 11. Brush with egg wash and add sesame seeds. 12. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown at 350°F (180°C) Crinkle cut fries: Potatoes 4 cups water 1/2 tbsp salt 1 tsp vinegar Instructions: 1. Cut the potatoes using a crinkle-cut knife. 2. Soak in cold water to prevent browning. 3. Boil for 10 minutes. 4. Pat dry. 5. Fry in batches for 1 minute. **You can keep this in the freezer for future consumption.** 6. Place in a tray lined with paper towel. 7. Double fry until golden brown. 8. Add salt. Sauce: 1 cup mayo 1/3 cup tomato sauce 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp vinegar Instructions: 1. Mix all ingredients. This recipe makes 12 oz of sauce. Chicken Fingers: Brine: 5 cups water 2 tbsp salt 1 1/2 tsp onion powder 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp ginger powder 1 tsp paprika 1 tbsp sugar 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp chili powder Plain flour (all-purpose flour) Wet batter: 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup flour 1 large egg Seasoned flour: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup cornstarch 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp onion powder 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp MSG 1/2 tsp ginger powder 2 tsp salt Instructions: 1. Brine chicken overnight. 2. Pat them dry. 3. Dip in plain flour. 4. Dip in wet batter. 5. Dip in seasoned flour. 6. Press to make sure the chicken is well coated. 7. Fry until golden brown. 8.
