And of course they appear happy, its new and these people thrive in novelty, but its always short lived. Take this time to learn to love yourself and build your defenses. So you can live your best most authentic life without them in it. I totally understand the feeling because ive been there but worrying is like a rocking chair, it gave me something to do but didnt get me anywhere. Embrace the feeling, realize why it’s present, share it with a therapist and friend and let it go. I did this as often as i needed to so i can focus my attention on the aspects of life that serve me and what i want from it. I learned that i cant judge from the outside whats happening inside any relationship dynamic let alone ones with my abusers. Live and let live so i can be free and stop being remote controlled.
