info
To begin preparing your ribs, generously coat them with your dry rub. I recommend letting the ribs marinate in the dry rub for a minimum of 6 hours to allow the flavors to fully penetrate the meat. Next, place the ribs on the grill and sear them to achieve a nice char. It’s important to char the fat on the outside of the ribs as it enhances the flavor and creates a crispy outer layer. While you have the option to trim the fat, I advise against it as the fat will slowly melt away as the ribs braise in the oven. Once the ribs are nicely charred, which should take approximately 5 to 7 minutes, transfer them to a sealable container and add additional flavorings such as brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Sriracha. Seal the container tightly to allow the ribs to marinate. Bake the ribs at 325°F for about four hours, then remove them from the oven, drain any excess juices, and generously coat them with your favorite barbecue sauce. Return the ribs to the oven uncovered and bake at 450°F for an additional 20 minutes, or until the barbecue sauce becomes sticky. Once the ribs are cooked to perfection, serve and enjoy!
