Eagles vs Steelers Tailgate 🦅💚 • So, a lot goes into executing a tailgate for me. It’s not just showing up with a grill and a tent. There’s a whole plan that I map out to make sure that each tailgate is better than the last. Because at the end of the day, we really just want good food and good vibes! Keep in mind that @scothrdwrk and I knew NOTHING about tailgating 3 years ago. We literally walked into it blindly. But since we always get questions, here are some tips that I’ve learned along the way. 🦅💚 • - Get there EARLY! If the game starts at 1pm, be in the car line to get into the parking lots at 5am! If it’s at 4pm game, be in line at 8am. And if it’s an 8pm game, be in line by 11am. This will cut down on any stress of finding a spot to set up. - Pre-Order your parking pass. Some lots are a little more “exclusive” than others, so a parking pass for that specific lot is required. However, if you arrive early, you can pay $45 for regular cars, or $90 for oversized vehicles at the gate. And you can park and set up in any lot that isn’t considered “reserved”. BUT, if you arrive late, and you don’t have a parking pass, I have experienced not being able to pay at the gate to get in the lots. The parking attendants will give you the run around and force you back into traffic for another hour in an effort for you to find another lot entrance that allows you to pay onsite. - Once you get in the lots, and see a free spot, park and set up immediately. There’s no need to keep searching unless there is a particular lot that you want to be in. - In the open lots, there’s no real limit of how many spots you can take up with your setup. However, in the reserved lots, you are limited. - A question I always get asked is do I sell food out there, and the answer is NO. All of my tailgates are private parties. - Tailgates are FUN! Everyone is out there to have a good time so it’s rare to experience anything negative. Even fans of the opposing teams show love. …and I think that’s it. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask. I hope this was helpful. 💚🦅 #fyp #philly #nfl #football #tailgate
