Once itâs done remove the chicken into a separate bowl and set aside - in the same pan sautĂ© together 3 cloves garlic, 1diced red onion. - After 2min add in 2 diced tomatoes and 1cup tomato purĂ©e. If you donât have purĂ©e just add 4-5 diced tomatoes. Cook that together till the tomatoes break down - then add in 2 cup water and bring that to a boil. Then add in 1sp garam Masala - then blend it all up together into a fine gravy - then pour the gravy back into the same pan (optional: to make it extra silky gravy you can sift the gravy into the pan which will take an extra 3-5min) -bring the gravy to a boil with 1tsp chilli powder and 1tsp sugar - then add in 1/4 cup butter and half cup milk. You can also use cream instead of milk for a richer taste, but I often use milk as a healthier/lighter option.
