I can’t count how many times l’ve struggled with overeating. I would tell myself I’ll restart tomorrow or on Monday, but always found an excuse to overeat again. Let’s focus on what God says about overeating “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Colossians 3:2 “All things are lawful, but not all things are helpful.” 1 Corinthians 10:23 “Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 “Keep yourselves from idols.” 1 John 5:21 Based on scripture, we should take caution when it comes to overeating and bingeing. We should be aware of our food consumption Food, particularly sugar, can be so addictive and we can end up unintentionally placing it above our relationship with God. Here are a few things that help me stay in check with food; 😊Food boundaries- 3 deliciously abundant meals of real food everyday 📖Prioritize Bible & prayer time. 🧐Be mindful. I try to be intentional about what I eat. Protein, Vegetables, Fruit, Grain, and Fat Food habits can be so hard to break.
