✨ If you’re considering painting your powder room green, I’m telling you, THIS might be the perfect color for you … go for it! Walls & Ceiling - flat finish Baseboards - satin finish I’ll be honest, I was apprehensive at first … I even paintings the ceiling 😬 believe it our not, it made the room feel larger! I chose brass finishes bc I really wanted the space to have a vintage feel… well, modern vintage…??? If that’s a thing 😆.. The mirror is 30x40 inches… I added a new light fixture and it now faces upwards … which made that wall feel taller I wasn’t in love with this builder grade vanity tbh😆, matter-fact, I wanted to change it… it wasn’t functional …but now i wanna keep it lol 😂… I added brass hardware, these cute baskets from Walmart, led light strips on the bottom and now it’s a whole new unit….. you can even add battery powered/rechargeable/plug in led light strips .. whatever fits your lifestyle Ok let’s talk about this stunning planter!!! …. In this room, Black, Olive green and Chocolate brown all would have worked beautifully. If you love your neutrals, contrast can also be created even with neutrals/monochromatic elements. 🥳 Because I wanted to keep my bed, I decided to go with a darker paint… this not only made the bed pop it created the contrast I was looking for. By adding a darker rug underneath the light colored bed, it made the bed stand out even more. Maybe it’s the rug color or paint color that needs to change in your space in order to create that amazing contrast. ☺️ I plan on adding more warmth to this space by adding ambient lighting, beams, and brown tones.
