Yes the cup melted but thats the whole point of pushing the maschine if you use hard wire the gas will help with that cup issue. I am disappointed it didnt come with extra cups but cups are cheap. Obviously gasless flux you get more spatter then hardwire. More testing will be coming coming. Stick and flux are done!
