Being brave and showing my face on here because you need these pink pickled onions in your life 😋 Ingredients 170ml (3/4 cup) white wine vinegar 30g (2 Tablespoons) granulated sugar 8g (1.5 teaspoons) fine sea salt 30ml (2 Tablespoons water) 2 red onions, thinly sliced 12 whole black peppercorns (optional) Method Bring the vinegar, sugar, salt and water to simmer and stir until the sugar and salt crystals have dissolved. Thinly slice two medium to large red onions and place them into a large lidded glass jar with the peppercorns. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the onions in the jar and use a spoon to submerge the onions into the liquid. If they aren’t submerged completely, top up with boiling or hot water.
