Can you relate? This is the bright side, of adhd. 1. Yes, you have trouble focusing on individual things but this gives you a **broad** focus, which makes you an amazing problem solver since you’re always able to see the big picture 2. yes, you have a constant craving for dopamine but this actually gives you the ability to become very calm and focused in high-pressure environments because these provide your brain with the dopamine you need. 3. yes, you have a constant need for stimulation but this can actually make you very funny and enthusiastic because you’re always looking for a laugh 4. Yes, you’re always distracted but this also makes you very creative because you’re able to pay attention to a lot more things at once and recognize seemingly unrelated patterns, 5. and even though you have trouble focusing on things you aren’t interested in, you’re able to hyperfocus on things that you are, giving you the power to put in a days work in just a few hours. So yes, ADHD has a dark side, but we often forget that there is also a bright side. Not forgetting about and findings areas which rewards these strengths will lead you to see possibility where there wasn’t any before to ultimately help you rise above your limitations. #adhdcantstopme Disclaimer: All my content is based on my own experience and/or research/observations from licensed professionals.
