This Basic Boule Bread is perfect for beginners! 3 Cups Bread Flour 1.5 Cups Warm (not hot) Water 1 tsp Active or Instant Yeast 1 tsp Kosher Salt 1/2 tsp Sugar Thoroughly mix ingredients into a sticky dough, cover and allow to proof in a warm place anywhere from 4 to 16 hours but you will get the best result allowing it to proof 12-16 hours. Heat cast iron Dutch Oven in 450° oven and shape dough into a ball, place onto parchment paper, cover and allow to proof an additional 15-20 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes on center rack, then remove lid and bake an additional 10 minutes. Remove from Dutch Oven and allow to cool on rack for at least 1 hours before slicing.
