Caleb requested birria tacos for his birthday 🫶🏼✨ pat seasonings into your chuck roast I have 3lb chuck roast and I used onion powder, garlic powder, cayanne, salt and pepper Sear each side for a few min each and then remove chuck roast Add in 3-4 tomatoes, 1/2 cup water, white onion, garlic cloves, 6 chilies (I used NM whole chile pods), 1 tbs tomato paste. Let this mixture cook until the chilies become soft then blend together Add the meat back to the dutch oven with some fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, a few bay leaves, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cover the meat with beef broth + water. Then add your tomato sauce. Bring to a simmer then cover and cook for 3-4 hours. Take meat out and shred once tender. Dip your corn tortillas in the consume and assemble tacos on a frying pan.
