This is what I was taught. What about you?? When I first opened a bank account, I balanced my checkbook for the first couple of years until I got cozy with online banking. I was not looking forward to having to do it for the rest of my life. 😝 My mom still says it’s a good idea to keep track of pending charges or mistakes the bank can make, but let’s face it — life’s got me way too exhausted for that! 😭 But I have immense respect for those who still do it, and grew up doing it all these years!!
