Awlad Badi3a was SO hard to watch. The violence, the misery, it was very disturbing and draining. However, I can’t deny that it was a fantastic production. Every element from a filmmaking perspective was on-point, and the violence obviously reflected very real situations that happen in our world today. But did we need to SEE it so much? Honestly I loved the consistency of Zawja Wahida 🙌🏻 The show delivered solid hour after hour across all 30 episodes and never really had a weak hour which is seriously impressive! I know dramedies aren’t for everyone but I loved the show’s unique tone, hilariously lovable cast, and INSAAANE twists that you never saw coming. I really loved the first ten episodes of 2024 so honestly I was disappointed by the final five (although the finale thankfully was emotionally satisfying). Still, the cast is incredible and all did a fantastic job keeping us invested in their journeys! I was so worried the show’s many subplots wouldn’t get resolved up by the time the season finale came around but @nadine.jaber did it 🙌🏻 🔥This was such an emotionally satisfyfing conclusion to the show and I’m super pleased with how the story came to an end! Because I loved the last few episodes so much, I just couldn’t bring myself to rate these two episodes lower (especially since episode 26 was a 10 🔥). But the Farah storyline really annoyed me and I still can’t get over Nibal operating in secret for almost 30 episodes! Is it just me?
