Replying to @jess. Is your puppy TOO good motivated? This can be a problem. Bitten fingers, lunging and jumping and barking for food creates a challenging time, especially when you’re trying to train them! Some things to help: - use a slow feeder for mealtimes - make sure your puppy is getting enough food at those mealtimes - use leash for some control - use body blocking - teach Place command right away - do spatial pressure with front door, back door & crate - try not using food to train (use a toy or praise instead) For more help in each of these areas along with a program to follow, check out our Online Puppy School!
