TIPS for Disneyland After Dark Sweethearts Nite 2024 💝 EARLY ENTRY – Though the event doesn’t begin until 9pm, you get early entry to Disneyland Park at 6pm. If you’re already inside the park, you can checkin at the Starcade in Tomorrowland. There are photo ops and merchandise here, and I didn’t have to wait in line to experience it. 💥 RISE OF THE RESISTANCE SWEETHEARTS NITE – The ride closed around 7pm, so if you want to experience it, head there beforehand. Which rides are open during Sweethearts Nite? Most of them! I only noticed that Haunted Mansion is closed because it’s under refurbishment. 👑 ROYAL CAVALCADE TIME – The cavalcade with Princesses and Princes runs from Main Street to near It’s a Small World. I recommend lining up for it 15-20 minutes before near Small World; just look for the giant pink music player. You’ll have a great view of the carriages coming in as the Fairy Godmother and Grand Duke welcome them. 📷 CHARACTER TIPS – Most characters will have lines to meet them. However, I didn’t notice long lines for Chip, Dale, and Clarice in Toontown, the Space Couple in Tomorrowland, or Big Al in Critter Country. However, many of the Princesses and Princes have longer lines, and some of the photo ops. Toward the end of the night, you may see some photo locations decrease in wait times, like the Turning Red one in Tomorrowland, which had no wait at the end of the night.
