#Mayflower the flowers of the #Hawthorn are a real sign that summer is right around the corner. Unmistakable little white blossoms with tiny yellow stamens they appear in these huge sprays across the thorny branches in May. I’ve already made a film last autumn about the berries etc but I thought I’d talk about the flowers too. Also reputed to smell like the plague.
