We are often sold the idea that it will come totally naturally, and while it is undoubtedly a very natural thing to do, it can take time for you and your baby to learn how to feed most efficiently. And (in my case) a bit of time to not feel totally weirded out by feeding in front of your dad or Father in Law for the first time πβ β I've put a caveat on this post that it's the first 2 weeks because I always found them the hardest. You worry your baby isn't getting enough milk, your nipples are sore from getting used to the constant cluster feeding and it can feel really tough.β β Of course for some people, it can feel hard beyond that too but for many after the first 2/3 weeks things feel like they start to settle a bit.β β What was your experience in those first 2 weeks?
