Nung nakaraan nga habang naglalaro yung bunso ko nakita ko ni line up nya yung toys nya. Pumasok nga sa isip ko na isa sa common signs of autism ang lining up toys. Pero minsan (madalang) lang naman sya mag line up ng toys kaya di ako nagwworry at overthink agad na may autism sya Bilang yung panganay ko ay diagnosed with autism, di ko rin maiwasan na minsan ay kabahan at mag worry na baka mayroon din si bunso. Pero so far wala pa naman akong naoobserve sa kanya na signs. (Sana wala na talaga) Share ko lang to para sa mga parents, iwas overthink ba, wag agad mag worry, wag mag self diagnose pag may napansin na isang sign of autism.. Si bunso nag line up sya ng toys, common sign of autism yun, pero sign rin yung ng typically developing child. Kung hindi naman paulit ulit at madalas nyang ginagawa, hindi po agad tayo dapat mag overthink.. lalo kung yun lang at isang sign lang ang nakita natin sa bata Kay bunso ko okay ang kanyang communication at social skills, wala rin syang repetitive behavior.. nag line up man sya ng toys minsan but I donβt see it as repetitive.. kaya di ako nag iisip na baka may autism sya dahil okay naman ang iba ibang areas of development nya. Ang isa sa core symptom of autism ay repetitive behavior, dun under ang repetitive lining up toys. Key word is repetitive, pag paulit ulit, madalas, halos laging ginagawa, araw araw.. repetitive behavior ito, isang sign of autism. Pero hindi ibig sabihin may autism agad ang bata pag may repetitive behavior, ang iba pang core symptoms of autism na dapat natin observe ay kung nahihirapan sa pagsasalita/ pakikipag usap at pakikisalamuha (social communication difficulties) Marami rin sa mga may autism ang may sensory issues. Kung may napapansin na delay sa ating mga anak. Maaaring delay lang ito, maaari rin namang ibang condition. Mabuting kumonsulta sa inyong doctor. Disclaimer: Iβm not an expert.
