This hole was mostly shallow, except up against the bank. The water flow was slower and had some foam. That screams trout to me. The entomology in the water will follow that flow into the depths. And the grassy bank is a great spot for winged bugs and terrestrials to reside. Which some will ultimately fall into the water. Predict where the fish are.
