Dito na kayo sa Taytay Falls, Majayjay, Laguna. 📜✏️ Tips/Reminders: 📌Taytay Falls is also known as Majayjay Falls or Imelda Falls. 📌This waterfall gets crowded during weekends, holidays and summer vacation. 📌If you are pressed for time, you may opt to hire a tricycle from the town proper of Majayjay that will take you directly to the falls but this is a more expensive option. 📌Always observe the LNT principles. ✈️🛳🚌 How to get to Taytay Falls, Laguna: ⏺ Ride a bus from Metro Manila to Santa Cruz, Laguna (e.g. DLTB in LRT Taft-Buendia; travel time is 2 – 3 hours depending on traffic condition), and once you get to Sta Cruz bus terminal, ride a jeep to get to the town center. You’ll see the church and plaza, then after that queue of jeepneys. Or you can wait for a jeepney across the bus terminal but I don’t recommend this since the jeepneys could be full by the time they’ll pass by the bus terminal. ⏺ Ride a Majayjay jeep, the jeep end of route is at Majayjay town center near the St Bartholomew Church. Then either you take a Lucban bound jeepney or hire a tricycle “pakyaw” system. ⏺ If you’ve chosen the Lucban bound jeepney, inform the driver that you are going to the falls and request him to drop you off at the road side barangay hall. Mababait ang driver so don’t be shy to request. ⏺ You’ll be drop off on the national highway in front of a barangay hall. The falls is still a few kilometers away on inner barangay roads. There are tricycles waiting beside the barangay hall, take one of these to the actual jump-off point, fare is P30 per person. ⏺ If you’ve chosen to hire a tricycle for a special trip from Majayjay to Taytay falls, fare is negotiable, but based on our actual experience we paid P150. I don’t know if this is on the high side. ⏺ Majayjay town center to the falls is close to 30 minutes tricycle ride. ⏺ No need to ‘kontrata’ your tricycle to get back to Majayjay town center because there are lots of waiting tricycle in the jump-off point. 💰Fare: (If student po kayo may less po basta always bring your school id) ✅ Manila to Sta.
