When God gave me the assignment of being a girl dad, i was never angry or disappointed. I loved their mother endlessly already so it was nothing for me to shape that love to fit my fatherhood journey. They have watched her evolve and all the trails and triumphs that came with that evolution. The two older ones watched her give her life to bring in another (something that may have been the perfect birth control later in life for them lol). They have seen her grow, shrink, rise, fall and get back up to try it all over again. My job, my one and only job, is to make sure they also see how much i value and appreciate all that is Jahneiss through it all. They must see me love her through the fire and glow with her in her victories. They must see me celebrate her life, for without her life and her sacrificing it so gracefully, this family of ours wouldn’t just seize to exist, it wouldn’t function according to Gods will either. She, herself, didn’t grow up seeing this dynamic, making me strive even harder to ensure her todays are different and their tomorrows are a product of that devotion. Queens deserve to be treated as such. My prayer is always that more of our woman feel valued and loved deeply so that we can continue to build generations to follow that will be a product of answered prayers. It only takes a small amount of action to make a huge impact on many, simple as that. Happy birthday one last time to our foundation and thank you @BaskinRobbinsUS and @Chick-fil-A for coming through with the brownies and ice cream.
