🎃🧙🏻‍♀️The Switch Witch! 🎃🧙🏻‍♀️ The night of Halloween, we sort our candy into a “Keep” pile and a “Switch Witch” pile. The excess candy that is not really wanted is left outside their door at bedtime, and they wake up to find their treat bucket filled with toys! This is an optional tradition in our household - some kids just might want all their candy and that is totally ok too ❤️ Why we love this tradition: - For us the Switch Witch doesn’t take ALL the candy - just what our child doesn’t want or what they feel like they have a surplus of! - This is a great option for kids with allergies as they can swap out candy that isn’t safe for fun toys instead. - It is very exciting to wake up to new toys, and for us parents it cuts down on the copious amounts of sugar we collect on Halloween night 🙌🏻 Win win for everyone! #halloweentraditions #parenthack #halloweencandy #toddlerparents
