A lot of people don’t “think” you should wear jeans & tennis shoes to work as a teacher BUT I work with 5 year olds and refuse to run around in dresses and sandals/heels/flats everyday. Once or twice a week is fine. Plus, when you look like your students… they feel more comfortable. We don’t have uniform and our dress options go from casual all the way up to professional.
