Did i have postpartum hemorrhaging and i didnt even know? My nurse was so so sweet and kind and i think she didnt want to stress me out so i was never made aware. I do remember getting a huge needle of something put in my leg right after birth and at the time I didn’t even think of it. When i was looking up the line items from my hospital bill, i saw a medication, methylergonovine, and I didn’t recognize it. I think this was the intramuscular shot that i got and it is said to help treat severe bleeding from the uterus after childbirth. The wild thing was, i was walking to the bathroom an hour after birth. Slightly dizzy but no fainting or anything. I threw up a couple times but i thought it was bc i ate so much after. Either way, glad to tell the tale!
