The Americana🔒 (BJJ Highlight) - Note: This is typically a day one submission you learn on your first day of Jiujitsu. It was my first submission. And for the longest time I considered it very very low percentage. I usually use this submission (Americana) to force my opponent on their side so I can take their back and fight for a rear naked choke. And since my training partner actually gave me trouble the entire roll I was surprised I caught him with this classic submission 🔒 Some call it the Key Lock, American Lock or Americana.
