Words cannot describe how grateful and proud I am from last night. Totally exciting and overwhelming… I have never done anything like this before in my life but I took a punt, and I said yes, and I did it. A past version of me would have shyed away… but last night I just embraced fear and did it anyway. I got to meet some incredible people (and tried my best not to fangirl) and you know what… everyone has to start somewhere and that’s what I did. From a socially anxious girlie who has never interviewed anyone and had no idea how I was going to speak live and on the spot… trust yourself… you’re capable of more things than you could ever imagine.
