Happy Birthday to my hero, Mike Love. Mike’s invaluable contributions to The Beach Boys have regrettably been undervalued. His lyrics and hooks are etched into the annals of music history. He gifted the world a sonic postcard through his lyrical imagery, painting a vivid portrait of America teeming with hope, optimism, and an infectious sense of positivity. And by allowing me to perform with him for nearly four decades, he has granted me one of the most extraordinary gifts one can ever receive—the privilege of being a conduit for getting his timeless music out to millions.
