King Arthur Roast with creamy Marrow Melt Mash….. Served with roasties & roast root veg which we cooked in the @gozney dome along side some roasted garlic what more could you want for the perfect Sunday roast 👌 Following our recent visit to @kettyleirishfoods we brought home a wonderful King Arthur Roast which we cooked in the @kamadojoeuk Seasoned with @sucklebuster SPG I then used the @meatermade plus to monitor the progress of the cook. My target temperature for the roast was 52°c Once rested we served it with some lovely marrow melt mashed potatoes. To make the marrow mash: 2lb of potatoes 120ml of double cream 120g of butter (melted) salt flakes Grated @kettyleirishfoods Marrow Melt Peel & boil the potatoes in salted water Once booked empty the water contents from the pan. Then return the potatoes to the pan over a gentle heat for 2 mins to let them dry Place the potatoes into a ricer or smash them down. Place into a fine sieve using a soft spatula to pass them through. This will give a smoother texture. Next add the melted butter and combine. Once all the butter is combined with the potatoes add the cream gradually a little at a time whilst mixing until it has all combined.
