Every December I unstuff 5-10 savings challenges and end up with at least $15,000 to apply towards my retirement and financial goals. For the past 3 years I’ve skipped on traveling, luxury cars, and over the top spending (I do treat myself for my bdays though 😂). Doing so enabled me to be able to put down multiple 6 figures on my home, pay off my vehicles, pay down my student loan debt, pay off my credit card debt, pay off my medical debt, invest in my retirement, invest in a brokerage account, donate to causes I believe in, and buildup my emergency savings! Small challenges like these really add up! What will you do with YOUR savings challenge money at the end of the year? Do you spend it monthly or save it up?

This is one of those challenges that are super easy to complete. I know people who do it backwards because they’re more cash heavy at the top of the year. That’s a prime example of “do what works for you!”. Have you completed this challenge? What did you do with the money? Or what do you plan to do with the money?
