Few things to note: If mewing makes it hard for you to breathe or gives you a headache then you’re not doing it right! (Wish i knew this when I started 😓) I started mewing when I was 14, I’m now 15 turning 16. I also did not lose any weight, I’ve never been big i just have a rounder face. Mewing has definitely helped my face look more sculpted because having a strong jawline affects the way your face looks overall, it makes it look more sculpted and balanced. Also the jawline doesn’t get tighter with weightloss, that can only be acheived through mewing/jaw exercises or surgery 🤍 ℍ𝕠𝕨 𝕥𝕠 𝕞𝕖𝕨! There are many videos out there that explain and show how to mew, that’s how I learned how to do it. However if you still struggle to understand through them then the best way that I can explain it is when you swallow, the way your tongue touches the roof of your mouth is the correct mewing position. You do not have to clench your teeth as this will give you a headache and you want to apply a confortable amount of pressure from your tongue to the roof of your mouth. It’s very important that the pressure applied doesn’t feel unnatural or uncomfortable. Along with mewing, your neck and back posture is also important in order for this to work, keep your shoulders down and back straight. When people say mewing should be done consistently it pretty much means all the time, obviously you can’t mew when youre talking or eating but the more you mew the more it will become natural, you shouldn’t even have to think about it, you should see results in a little as a month to as long as 4 months, I didn’t really notice the difference until about 5 months in when I started taking side by sides and people started complimenting my jawline <3 I also want to clarify that Mewing hasn’t yet been scientifically proven but nor has it been debunked. I think alot of people who start practicing mewing go into it skeptical that it will actually work, from my experience it has worked for me and I think with more research and studies more people will truly realise its benefits. There are many orthodontics who stand behind mewing and will recommend it to children to correct jaw aesthetic issues before they progress, the best way to see if it will work for you is to just try it out for 2-3 months and take progress pictures every two weeks, if you notice a difference then you’re on the right track <3 #mewing #mewingtransformation #mewingresults #jawline #beforeafter #guasha #looksmaxxing #blackgirltiktok #modelface #bellahadid #whointheworldisthisgirl #fyp #foryou #viral #blowthisup
