WHAT IS MEMORIAL DAY? For those that are not aware. The reason we observe Memorial Day. Is because its a federal holiday for mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces. Hopefully after reading the opening you said to yourself. "Daymond is a complete idiot! Who doesn't already know that?" Well, I was absolutely shocked and disgusted to read a study conducted by The University of Phoenix discovering that Only 43% Of Americans know the true meaning of Memorial Day. After my initial shock. I realized that my mother made me do a report on every holiday before I could go out and play. This gave me a deeper understanding for it's purpose. So as always, it really is up to us to teach our children the significance of times like this. They don't know what they don't know. And who else is suppose to teach them? It's our kids and our responsibility. I'm certainly not perfect either. This was a good reminder that I need to continue to teach Mink that Freedom is not free at all. And we owe so much to the brave men, women and their families that have sacrificed so much for us. Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸#thankyouforyourservice

APPLYING COMMON SENSE COULD BE YOU BIGGEST INVESTMENT. When I was a kid, I was offered to work for drug dealers. They tried to convince me how great my life would be with cars, jewelry, and everything else. I didn't need any convincing. All I needed was common sense. I did this simple profit and loss statement in my head, and it took me 3 minutes to decide that I would never, ever take that path for the rest of my life.

The CRAZY CHICKEN GUY might not be that crazy at all. HE PROVED THE SHARKS WRONG. And we couldn’t be happier for him. Success isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation on Shark Tank, and Chet’s pitch certainly left its mark.. I’m actually still scratching my head! He stirred things up and ruffled some feathers! Despite not sealing the deal. He is living proof that only God can judge you at the end of the day. It’s a reminder that success is ultimately measured by a persons passions, willingness to learn and determination. Not by the approval of others. Congrats!
