Does your puppy grab at your clothes over and over? Puppies do this for your attention, or because they’re bored, frustrated or tired. It can be a super frustrating habit - and expensive if they keep ruining your clothes! Having your puppy drag around a leash and harness while under your supervision can be super helpful while you’re trying to teach them not to do this, that way you can gain control of the situation quick. It gives you leverage. Next is redirecting them to do something else positive instead. This can be just a “Sit” or work then with a sequence of commands to get their mind from the negative (chewing clothes) behavior to the positive (following commands and listening) behavior.
